Funeral Expenses for Shirley

On August 16, 2023, the world lost a beloved mom, friend, sister, and Nana. Shirley Fry met her Savior and was reunited with her husband, son, daughter, and many loved ones who had gone before her.

Shirley grew up in Knoxville, TN, but moved to Jacksonville, FL in the '60s for her husband Jim's job. She raised three children and was a devoted Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley loved music and singing and was a long-time member of Murray Hill Presbyterian Church. She was devoted to serving her church and wore many hats, such as treasurer, children's choir director, and member of the handbell ensemble. She enjoyed going to garage sales, watching Florida Gator football, chatting on the phone with family and friends, and hosting holiday gatherings at her house. Her beloved dog Ginger was her best companion and will miss her dearly.

Shirley and her late husband Jim lived a humble life. While they did prepay for a burial plot, there are expenses with a funeral that are difficult to prepare for in advance. Any donations to help cover such costs would be humbly and gratefully appreciated by her family.
