Who We Are
We are Max Martial Arts, a small, but growing business, in Brentwood, CA. We have 180 students with the potential to reach many more students in the near future in our new facility.
Mission Statement
Max Martial Arts exists to empower youths and adults through high quality martial arts training to develop their minds, strengthen their bodies, and build quality character traits so they can make wise choices, be healthy, and be safe.
We are about making leaders, improving our community, strengthening families, teaching self-defense, and celebrating the martial arts.
Problem
We are about to enter our new, larger facility. This is a much needed step in our growth. But the startup costs are mounting beyond our ability to keep up.
How the Funds will Be Utilized
All the funds will be used to help with the startup costs of our new facility. The following specific items will be addressed first:
Floor improvement - the current flooring is cement, but it needs some work.
Matting - we need to double our mat size. This is our single largest expense.
Sign - the property we rented has requirements for signage that have raised our expenses substantially.
New Equipment - We would like to buy new heavy bags and hand targets for our students to hit as well as some workout equipment.
Deadline
Our move-in date is May 1, 2016. So we need the funds no later than April 15. We are already moving forward with many improvements to the facility, so any money given now will be put to immediate good use.

Max Martial Arts has helped to change lives and empower students in Brentwood for six years now. Our new, larger facility will allow us to continue and enhance our mission to impact our community. You can be a part of that. We have only made it this far because of the help and support of dozens of families and hundereds of clients who have believed in us.
