I moved to Brigham City from California in 1997 when I was called to minister at Victory Worship Center (VWC), then known as Victory First Assembly of God. I am now the Senior Pastor and have been so for twenty years.
At least 84.3% of Brigham’s population claims a religion. Many religious people may look good on the outside, but there are real hurts and pains on the inside. At heart, I am a bridge builder and want to see true inner healing take place. You’re probably asking how this will happen and what you can do to be a part of it. Allow me to explain.
In 2018, my church purchased a building located in what used to be the site of a World War II hospital and then later, the Intermountain Indian School, which lay vacant and abandoned for years. Zones have been changed, and permits have been issued. The work has begun. We are building a church that will not only meet on Sundays but will be a life support to those in need 24/7. A new hospital will rise out of the rubble, bringing healing and life to those around. A new tribe is rising up- believers who will love with no strings attached… a people who will live out His word (Matthew 25:34-45).
Below are the ways we have ministered and wish to continue to do so in the completed building:
1. Regular food giveaways- we are currently on a weekly schedule where we hand out groceries to families but are limited in the amount of food and meats we can take in because of our current space.
2. Clothes giveaways- We currently have clothes giveaways to help families but are once again limited to space. We have shelves and racks of clothes in storage and bring them out during outreaches.
3. Youth program- we currently feed the youth of our community once a week, but desire to add to this outreach an after-school program where we help with tutoring, homework, etc.
4. Kids program- we will create a safe place for parents and their children to come and be reminded of their value.
5. Christian discipleship center- our new facility will have adequate room to have classes to raise up and disciple ministers.
Will you join me in making this new building (new hospital) a reality? Your charitable contribution of any amount is tax-deductible and greatly appreciated. Click the link below.
