Jonathan's Go Fund Me

I am posting on behalf of my brother Jonathan as he is in need of support. John has been serving as a law enforcement officer for the past 13 years. He lives his job and has served his community well. However, John suffers from Complex Trauma. He has been engaging treatment regularly since December, but unfortunately this past weekend he suffered a setback and had a crisis reaction which threatened his life. It is recommended he seek inpatient treatment.

Jonathan has been in contact with an inpatient treatment center that has come highly recommended to him. He is excited for the hope and progress this could bring him and he is ready for treatment. He is a loving father and his kids are his motivation for working through this adversity. Jonathan has insurance that will cover the majority of the stay, however, there is an out of pocket expense of $6,600.00 He needs $1,600.00 down payment to enter the facility. They are ready for him when this can happen. He does not have enough PTO to cover his stay and to cover his monthly bills while he is there. He will also have to fly to the facility.

I am proud of my brother for taking the help offered to him and for being open with others regarding his current mental health struggles. He has gotten a lot of support since this episode but does need treatment. I believe he can be a beacon of hope for others one day, but first we need to get him the help he deserves.
