My Mom's Funeral Costs

Two years ago my mother Kelly Lavis was injured. This spinal injury caused her to be paralyzed from the neck down. Because of the severity of the injury, she had to have full time care and was admitted to a nursing home where she fought illness after illness. Recently she developed double pneumonia and Monday December 18th at age 44, she took her last breath. My mother was a strong woman and I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with her while she was here. Unfortunately, growing up we didn’t have a lot of money and before my mom was injured, she was homeless. I don’t like to ask for money but I’m just not able to cover the costs of her services myself. Having the financial burden taken care of would make this process a little easier on my brother and I. And it would make me feel better to know that I could honor my mom and give her a proper memorial. I ask that if you have a dollar to spare and feel compelled to help, please donate.
