The Tristn Jevon Recovery Foundation

Tristn was a lost soul with a big heart. The first 5 years of his life were exceptionally trauma filled and addiction was everywhere in his world. The hardest thing about losing him is that I help people get clean and sober every day as a trauma and addictions therapist, but I could not help my step son. He was someone who loved helping and taking care of older people, he loved animals and he was a loyal friend. He simply could not overcome the pain of the past. So, on February 4th, 2021 he gave up and overdosed on synthetic opioids. He had more promise than anyone I know, yet he could not see it. As an addictions and trauma therapist I see this all too often. As a father, I don't ever want to see it again. Rather than give up we have decided to create The Tristn Jevon Recovery Foundation. The Foundation will be dedicated to providing assistance to individuals and families in recovery from helping with rehab and sober living expenses, to providing therapy funds, to providing literature and meeting rooms for groups. Anything that can help in the fight against addiction. Currently we are raising money to formally open the 501(c)3. Funding will be used with only the requirement that services to end addiction in families and for individuals be the central purpose. We thank you for your support.
