My name is David Nowak, Director, along with the rest of the Kayla's Paws Board of Directors, Dylan Wise, Ventura Gallegos, Myra McClain and Glenn Denton, We would like to officially announce to you the official start of
"Kayla's Paws Service Dog Training, Education & Assistance Foundation" a fully approved NON-Profit 501(c)3 organization . .
With this newly approved 501(c)3 charity based foundation, means the more the four of us have to reach out on a national level and help even more people with disabilities with service dog training, Educational opportunities for businesses and other organization about service dogs and the rights granted to service dog teams via the ADA, HUD, and many other laws and regulations, Education of future Service Dog Trainers, promoting professionalism by how we train service dog teams, and Assistance, both monetarily, physically, and with equipment to those that struggle everyday with their disability, require a service dog, however don't have the funds or resources,
Amongst all the programs we wish to offer to disabiled individuals (with any type of qualified disability) in need of a service dog and training and can not afford one, one additonal major project goals in "Kayla's Paws" is a service dog training program designed to provide assistance, training, and other general service dog assistance will be for Law Enforcement Officers disabled in the line of duty since we have not seen a program such as this, and comining from a law enforcement background we would like to make sure these individuals are taken care of also!
We are not discriminating against Military Veterans (whom we will assist also, in the absense of being able to find a non profit soley working with disabled veterns and service dogs), but there are far to many other organizations that assist veteran with disabilities, and will be coordinating with some of those organizations as well to facilitate them getting assistance there.
As a brand new non profit 501(c)3 charitable organization, Even tho we have been training service dogs for over 18 years, we thought it best, experience wise to continue as a Non-Profit organization so that we can continue helping disabled individuals lives regardless of their qualifying disabilities on a larger scale.
As the founding four members, we understand, since we also have disabilities and service dogs, how important service dog are to individuals that need that type of support to mitigate their disabilities....This non profit is dedicated to that mission of service, helping those that need the help despirately however do not have the financial means or the means to support that special service dog that will be there to help them.
I would like to thank all those individuals that support this non profit, its mission and goals, so that we may be given the priveledge to help others!
Thank you in advance, to all that donate, your support will definately help others desperately in need....and funding support to build this non profit up, reach its goals and all the potential we have to offer others in need.
Respectfully and Best Wishes
Dave, Ventura, Dylan, Myra & Glenn
