Help Kemi Fight Breast Cancer

Kemi is my sister, a wife and young mother of two girls. She loves God, family, and life. She desires to help other women and mothers by encouraging and inspiring them. She does this in her church, home, family, community, online (@kemi_chronicles), and job.

 

Kemi has a heart that loves to love, and she is very big on health and taking great care of your body. While doing a self-exam one day, she felt an area in her breast that didn't feel right. She spoke to her husband and sisters and they agreed for her to get it checked by a medical professional. This saved her life, since that evaluation lead to the diagnosis of breast cancer. She was told she had two different types, in each breast, at two different stages. This diagnosis is one that the doctors called rare.

 

Breast cancer is tough, but Kemi is tougher. Despite the diagnosis, Kemi has decided to live, fight, and win. Beyond the physical difficulty of breast cancer, it is also difficult financially. She's undergone countless appointments, chemotherapy, double mastectomy and she still has more surgeries, more appointments, and other therapies left to go. The cost of everything so far is already high and it is continuing to add up. The funds raised will be used to help with medical bills that have been incurred and help with the cost of her next surgery.
