This fundraiser has been established by Susan Stader on behalf of those whose lives have been touched by Terry Streeter
 
Terrence “Terry” Streeter, CSAC, is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend and colleague who can make the sunshine on the darkest of days.
 
He’s also a hero to hundreds of men who owe their lives to Terry’s strong support and belief in their ability to beat addiction one step at a time. He has been both my right- and left-hand man since coming to Next Step Recovery in 2008. I can’t imagine our program without him.
 
On April 7th, Terry was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening tonsil cancer that will require aggressive radiation and chemotherapy over the next several months and will likely result in the loss of his voice for a time while he relearns how to speak with a speech therapist.
 
Those who know Terry know that nothing short of cancer could keep him from showing up for others. Terry has always been there at any time of day or night to help someone take their first uncertain steps in recovery, or make it through a hard night, or celebrate a hard-won victory.
 
This time, Terry needs our help.
 
As you might imagine, fighting cancer in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is especially challenging. Terry will not be able to work while undergoing treatment as he must remain isolated because of his compromised immune system.
 
On behalf of all the lives Terry has touched, and all those yet to come, we are asking for your help to defray the cost of Terry’s medical bills and daily living expenses so he can put his full energy into fighting this disease.
 
We all need heroes to remind us we are up to any challenge. Terry has been that hero for many of us. Now it’s our turn. We hope you will join us.
