Dallas is a retired racer that came into our group late last year. Earlier this week he let his foster home know that he was not feeling well and ended up at the evet. The evet determined that there was a foreign body lodged in his intestine that had to come out. He was transferred to a surgery center in Leesburg and had surgery to remove the obstruction. He is still in the center for recovery.
In 19 years of service to finding homes for retired racers, we have never had to ask for help of this magnitude and now in less than three months we have had to do it twice. The generosity shown for our last request was overwhelming and now we are asking again for help with vet bills for a critically ill dog. Your donations will help cover his bills and help us to continue to carry on our mission of leaving no dog behind.
