For those of you that don’t know, on January 9th my aunt Jackie was in a traumatic car accident requiring her to be medflighted to Boston Medical Center, where she has since been receiving treatment in the ICU. Jackie broke almost every bone in her body, including 11/12 ribs, both of her legs, left arm, and parts of her back. She was on a ventilator for over two weeks and has just now been able to tolerate coming off of it. Jackie has already endured countless surgeries with one more scheduled for next week. She’s making slow strides of progress each day. She’s a fighter and her strength is unfathomable.
If you don’t know Jackie personally, take it from me, her niece, when I say that she is the most loving, kind-hearted soul around. Jackie would do absolutely anything for anyone. She doesn’t have to know you to care about you, to pray for you, and to want the best for you. She makes everyone’s lives better simply by being in it.
With that being said, Jackie has a long road of recovery ahead of her, with critical injuries requiring extensive rehabilitation. I am reaching out to this community to ask for your support as Jackie moves forward and begins healing from this horrific accident. Whether that be in the form of prayer or donations, our family appreciates the support more than you know.
