It is human nature to implement a trajectory for our lives; goals and mileposts put in place to help us successfully navigate our futures. But sometimes a detour is unexpectedly plunged in our path and abruptly life’s track can be thrown violently off course.
Brandon – my brilliant, talented, wonderful, older brother – has stumbled upon just such an obstruction; one that forces him to make some extremely difficult decisions – suddenly uprooting his life in Los Angeles, chief among them.
He finds himself unexpectedly packing up his life in LA and in mere weeks he will be moving up to Portland, Oregon, where he has the support of his family and friends. This sudden change has triggered great financial difficulty, and though he is loath to find himself in this situation, he could greatly use the generosity of his amazing friends and even strangers who might feel so compelled.
We, his family and friends, are looking to rent him a U-haul and a storage unit in Portland to temporarily store his belongings until he can begin rebuilding his path once more. This situation is the last thing he thought he would be enduring at this point in his life. He has the biggest heart and would literally give the shirt off his own back – even if it were his only shirt.
We understand the throes of the holiday season are upon us all and money is bound to be tight, but if you could spare even a few dollars to help a superb human being rebuild, that love and support would go a long way.
