** UPDATE ON THE TROWBRIDGE FAMILY**

I am stunned and devastated to report John Trowbridge passed away suddenly on January 8, 2022. The beloved husband, father, family member, friend, and extraordinary citizen died early Sunday morning at home.

The family is shocked. Amidst their grief, they need to figure out how to move forward.

Let's help ease this time in their lives by supporting them.

You all were so generous back when the house fire incinerated nearly everything they owned two years ago. Thanks to all of you, they came through that tragedy together, purchased their own home, adopted pets, and moved forward with their lives.

To say they're shattered doesn't begin to describe what the family is feeling right now.

I respectfully ask everyone—all of us— to help this extraordinary family once again. We're trying to raise another $20,000 to help them. Please join me in helping the Trowbridge family.

I thank you all. - Rebecca

Imagine losing everything you own and worked for -- in just a few short minutes.  Your beloved pet is gone.  Your clothing incinerated.   But your family is alive.   After the horror of an unforgettable night, it's time to start over.

That's what happened to my long-time friend and colleague, Kathleen Trowbridge.  Kathleen and her family lost their home, possessions,  clothing, medications, furniture -- EVERYTHING THEY OWN -- to a fire early Friday morning.   Their Woburn residence on Sturgis Street cannot be saved; authorities believe it was arson.  https://boston.cbslocal.com/2019/08/16/woburn-sturgis-street-fire/

I worked with Kathleen for years at Minute Man Arc.  She is a fiercely loving mother and wife.  A hard worker.  A kind soul.  A good friend.  I pestered her to start a Gofundme campaign, and she finally agreed to let us all help.  :)

So let's help!  Please get this fine family back on their feet.  Every donation makes a difference!

** Update:  The family has some urgent medical bills that need to be addressed in the wake of this terrible event.  With their approval, I changed our goal to $15,000.  Thank you to EVERYONE who donated so far. We have so many local families helping, as well as donors as far west as California.  Share this campaign and let's get that $15k! **
