This fundraiser is being created for my mother, Gloria Bowman.

On May 26th, Gloria was admitted to the hospital for bladder reconstructive surgery, work on her stoma, and a hernia repair. While the initial surgery was successful, complications arose during her recovery. Nearly two weeks later, she still had no movement from her stoma, requiring a second surgery. Doctors discovered that a section of her intestines had looped and caused a blockage. During the second procedure, they corrected the blockage and ultimately had to completely relocate her stoma. This extended her hospital stay to a total of 24 days before she was finally able to return home on June 19th. As you can imagine, almost a month in the hospital, ongoing medical care, medications, and recovery expenses have created a significant financial burden. Gloria is also recovering from previous hardships, including the loss of reliable transportation, making it difficult to get to appointments and manage daily needs.

Any donations received will help cover medical bills, treatment costs, medications, groceries, utility expenses, and other necessities during her recovery. If additional funds remain after these immediate needs are met, they will be used to help purchase a dependable used vehicle so she can attend appointments and regain some independence.
