Karen Skaggs Tornado Fund

Karen Skaggs has been a wonderful part of our Minooka Community High School Family for over 10 years.   On June 22nd, the devestating tornadoes that hit Coal City, destroyed her home and all that was in it.  Karen and her husband, John, are fine and unharmed.  Two of their children, who live with them, were not home at the time and they are safe too, but all wordly possessions are gone.  Karen  is always  the first one to help others but is the last one to ask for help in any way,  shape or form.  Her family has faced many challenges over the past few years.  Karen has always had a smile on her face and a positive word to say no matter how stressful her personal situations may have been.    Karen and her family are currently living in a hotel in Morris and  what is remaining of their home will be bulldozed within the next few days.  Now it is our time to help her rebuild their home and lives.
