The recent devastation that has transpired on the Westside of Maui on the 8th of August, has left thousands displaced. The high speed wind from the passing hurricane pushed a wildfire into horrific size.
Entire neighborhoods where consumed and ravaged by the wild fire, families separated and lives just devastated.
One of them was Myself, Charles H. Uahinui. I am a small business owner that grew up in Lahaina. Always been After trying to fight the inevitable I sadly had to watch my home disappear in flames. Subsequently I lost everything I owned. Displaced I'm currently living out of a back pack. Like many others in Lahaina. The fire continues to rage through the Westside as I post this. All my business machines where lost in the house fire. I aim to restore my business to operational capacity to help to get back on my feet quicker
Forced to start over, and rebuild to start fresh and recover from this tragedy. Planning to relocate to help facilitate getting back on my feet quicker. There is a dire need for clothes, food and supplies.
I would be greatly appreciative of any support and kokua I may recieve. Mahalo and thank you!
I'd also.like to thank the first responders for doing everything they could. Thank you Maui firefighters, police officers and paramedics. Also the unsung heroes of Maui county, mahalo!
