My parents lost their house in a fire in the early hours of the morning. They barely made it out, thanks to the neighbors who alerted them to the danger. The house is all but gone, my mom's car is gone, wallets gone, they have no shoes or clothes. Hopefully the insurance will kick in, but for now they don't have much.
