On April 5th, 2026, our friend Ian was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident caused by another motor vehicle that failed to stop, and it has completely turned his and his family’s world upside down.
Ian has already endured so much in just a short time. He suffered a severely broken femur in two places—one of them a compound fracture—and has already undergone 4-5 surgeries to repair it. He also broke his tibia and fibula in two places, again with a compound fracture, and still likely has more surgeries ahead of him.
In addition to his broken bones, Ian experienced a punctured lung and had both lungs collapse. Thankfully, he is now breathing on his own again without the need for a ventilator—an incredible step in the right direction. He also suffered a torn aorta and has already undergone two surgeries to repair it, with the possibility of more still uncertain.
While we are so grateful that Ian is here and making progress, the road to recovery will be long and difficult. He will be out of work for an extended period of time, facing mounting medical bills and the everyday expenses of supporting his wife and children.
Ian is a fighter, and he’s moving in the right direction—but he and his family need our help.
If you’re able to donate, any amount will go directly toward easing the financial burden during this incredibly challenging time. If you can’t give, sharing this page would mean just as much.
Let’s come together and support Ian and his family as they navigate the long road ahead. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support.
