Hello our names are Kadence & Angel. We are fundraising for our grandma, Judy Kennedy. Judy was in a terrible accident April 1 2023. She was on her way home from singing at our aunt Kathy’s memorial when she collided head on with a tree. She sustained life threatening injuries including; bilateral femur fractures, broken hip, foot, ribs, eye socket, nose and thoracic vertebrae. She also sustained multiple organ lacerations, cardiac contusion, and a punctured lung. She was life flighted to a level 1 trauma center where she now sits in trauma ICU awaiting several extensive surgeries. Anyone that knows our grandma knows that she is a fighter, but she has a very long road to recovery ahead of her. She has been a giver her whole life, always helping anyone and everyone she can. She has spent almost all of her 76 years following her passion for music and facilitating veteran and homeless outreach. Due to her non traditional career choices, she has no savings and no retirement and not so great medical coverage. It is our hopes that our friends, family and community will dig deep and show her the love and generosity that she has so often shown to others, maybe even to most of you. She will need help with medical bills as her hospital stay has only just begun. Her vehicle was also totaled with only liability insurance and most of her music equipment was destroyed.
