Hi, my name is Nikolas and I'm a 15 years old full-time wheelchair user and I have Duchenne muscular dystrophy. I am raising funds to purchase a DB Bullet Football Powerchair for myself which I will use at Farnham Powerchair Football Club where I train. Wheelchair football is the only sport that I can do and I really enjoy it. The problem is that a Bullet Football Powerchair costs about £9000 which I can’t afford. Although some of the other players own their own Football Powerchairs, I currently borrow one belonging to the club but cannot continue to do so indefinitely. In addition, it is an older model which does not provide me with an equal opportunity to compete in league matches. I will use all funds to purchase the DB Bullet Football Powerchair.
