Hi. My name is Colleen and on October 10, 2024, my dad, Stuart Shaw, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). It felt like the worst case scenario of possible diagnoses they might find. Thankfully, he has a great attitude and a wonderful care team! His wife, Marlene, has been watching him like a hawk and making sure he follows his new medical protocol to a T. We are grateful for her care and vigilance. I have created this page because medical care is expensive and Marlene has to be out of work in order to be with my dad. (He recently spent 11 days in the hospital.) Not only will we greatly appreciate any monetary donation you may feel led to give, but we will also covet your prayers as we navigate this new world we'd rather not be experiencing.
