Hi everyone,

This is a GoFundMe for our dear friend Justin. Over the past couple of years, Justin has faced serious health challenges, including breaking his hip, living with long Covid and related heart problems, and more recently discovering a tumor in his brain. He now has to undergo brain surgery to have it removed.

If you know Justin, you know how special he is. He is one of the most supportive, kind, and generous people you could ever meet. I feel incredibly lucky to have played music with him over these past few years and to call him a close friend.

Because of his health struggles over the last three years, Justin has not been able to work as much as needed to keep his business afloat. This made it impossible to keep up with the high costs of running a business in Germany, and the enormous fees it costs to shut it down. To give some context, the costs and fees have already wiped out Justin's savings, and the remaining balance owed to simply shut down the business is well above 20,000 euros. On top of this severe financial insecurity, he also has his German visa application coming up, which adds to the pressure at an already difficult time.

This fundraiser is to support Justin through his brain surgery and recovery. Any contribution, big or small, will help ease his burden and allow him to focus fully on healing.
