My son-in-law Jason has been sick since October 2014, hospitalized on 4 seperate occassions for at least a week and for as long as a month and has received 14 blood transfusions. Up until July of 2015 Jason had not been officially diagnosed, Doctors did not really know what was wrong with him. He has now been diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Disease, with a life-expectancy of 1-3 years without a liver transplant. Because of his condition Jason's immune sytem is very suspectible to any sort of cough, flu or diseases. He was initially denied disability but is now being re-evaluated.
During all this Jason's youngest Son Lincoln was born January 2015. He is 43 years old and a Father to 4 children. He is self-employed and has not been able to work for almost a year.
He is very fortunate to still be with us and fighting after getting through this past year.
