Hello, our newborn son George has a condition called Transposition of the great arteries which was diagnosed shortly after birth on 20th November 2025. He is currently in hospital awaiting surgery to - hopefully - correct the condition.

We are a little distance away from home, and are currently unable to work due to the current circumstances we face.

It was recommended by the hospital team to try a go fund me page as it may help with money issues going forward. We are in the process of trying to get help with funds through the charities available but have yet been successful with this, which is why we have come here.

As you can imagine, we are worried about being able to pay our rent and bills, and support ourselves financially during our stay here, which may be for 2-3 months yet.

Any donations would help and be greatly appreciated, and any money left over will be donated to charity - the british heart foundation.
