Irving “Stick” Scott - Severe Burn Recovery

Hey, everyone my name is Trevor and I’m creating this GoFundme for amazing my father, Irving Scott, who many of you may know as “Stick.” Well on Labor Day, Stick was involved in a grilling incident that caused him to sustain 2nd degree burns on nearly 40% of his body. The burns are located primarily on his face, neck, chest, sides, arms and hands. He’s being treated the UF Shands Gainesville Burn Center and is in a heavily sedated paralytic state. He has been intubated and has a feeding tube. He has already undergone 3 skin graft surgeries and is expected to be here for several more weeks to recover. He is 71 years old and by the God’s grace he is certainly trending upward, however, he’s got a long road to recovery. As a family collectively, it’s important that we focus on pouring into him and during this tough time to help manifest a miraculous yet speedy recovery.
