Burial Expences

Today my mothers soul raised up to be with the Lord. My mother was my father, my sister, my brother, my best friend...my all. My mother raised me being a single parent. She worked honorably before being diagnosed with mental illness when I was eleven years old.  I decided to get a job at that time because she no longer was able to support the household on her own. I started working in a pharmacy at 11. I used to take my mother to a day program for those with mental illness prior to going to school and after school I would go to work for 3 hours... always hoping that my mother would make it safe home after her day program. It was like that for many years until I attended college. My mother during the 90's saved some money for the future...during a mental crisis she gave her money to someone to hold. After years of requesting her money back... this person declared bankruptcy and stated he no longer had her money. During the power struggle of her trying to get it back...she had her first two strokes one after the other... the stress was unbearable for her. Despite this I promised my mother I would become a nurse someday.. and that I would make her proud. I studied and I persevered to become a nurse. I made sure her hard work would not go to waste. My mother tragically experienced a stroke last week friday which left her in a coma, unable to wake up again,  unable to breath without a ventilator, and immobile. My mom passed away today and there aren't words to describe the pain I feel to have lost the love of my life. But, I am accepting the will of God as I know she is free...free of pain...and in the hands of the lord.
My mother despite her struggles with mental illness and health problems was an amazing women. She was humanitarian. She helped those in need in Dominican republic with clothing, and necessities. She was a member of the church and was always there for her family. My mother raised me to be a strong women and to persevere.
I welcome your thoughts, prayers,  love and support during this difficult time.  A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated and would truly help me with funeral, burial, and medical expenses.
