Hello! My name is Gabriel. I'm a transgender man who's into art, music, animals, and good food. I've been trying to get my insurance to cover the cost of top surgery (the removal of my chest) to no avail, so it's time to reach out to my friends and neighbors to see if I can get some help.

I'm looking to get some things off my chest (haha) so I can be happier, healthier, and safer. I've had back issues since puberty, which have impacted my ability to exercise and work. I also want to be able to "pass" more easily as a man to keep myself safe from those who want to harm trans people. Finally, I experience a lot of dysphoria (a painful dissonance between who I am and what my body looks like) that could be alleviated by getting this surgery.
