As written by Maggie..... Baby Archer arrived into the world Thursday  November 1st at 8:31 PM after a four hour start to finish natural delivery.  Our 10 pound boy came after a healthy pregnancy and labor. He was laid on my chest for a minute or two before he began to show some signs of struggling to breath.   He was removed and they began CPR. 33 minutes of CPR to be exact. It is believed that in that time Archer suffered a heart attack for no apparent reason. His case is rare in that his heart is seemingly healthy and doctors can find no explanation. In fact, they have  only found 38 other cases to compare his to throughout the world.   Unfortunately a lot of techniques  that would be used on adult heart attack patients are not possible on a heart so small.  

Sadly, Archer passed away on Monday, November 5th. This campaign is to provide support for the Hitt family as they face unexpected medical bills and other expenses.
