A family in need

On Thursday August 24th I awoke to the police at my door to confirm a mothers worst nightmare. They said our son Cory Nedrow was shot!!! At the time they didn't tell us where. Once we got to the hospital which is 2 1/2 hours from our home it was confirmed he was shot in the head. He had to have a 6 hour brain surgery and is currently in critical condition. Since we are 2 1/2 hours from home we will need help will traveling expenses. My husband has had to take off work because we don't want to leave our baby's side. We may also need help with medical expenses that may not be covered by state insurance. They are saying it could be months before we know if he will be well enough to leave the hospital. It is one of the hardest things to ever have to see is your baby laying there like that. Our baby just turned 16 years old 2 weeks ago. Cory is a very good kid, he is very funny and always loves to make people laugh. This is going to be a long journey for our family. Thank you in advance and God bless
