Deputy Patryck Wolfrum
Donation protected
I'm asking for help for a fellow deputy and friend of mine Deputy Patryck Wolfrum. Deputy Wolfrum was struck on his motorcycle Sept 3, 2014 on his way to work. Deputy Wolfrum sustained multiple injuries from this hit and run driver. As of today the person who hit Deputy Wolfrum still hasn't been brought to justice. Deputy Wolfrum has undergone a few surgeries and still has a long road to recovery along with long term physical therapy. I'm asking for any donations to help Deputy Wolfrum with his medical bills.
Thank you

DETROIT (WJBK) - An off-duty Wayne County sheriff's deputy was on his way to work on his motorcycle when he was injured by a hit and run driver.
Patryk Wolfrum is hoping the public can help bring the driver from the Sept. 3 accident to justice.
"I was just wondering oh God - when is it going to stop," Wolfrum said. "I hope nobody else hits me."
Wolfrum will never forget the fear he felt tumbling down I-94 - his bones breaking, his skin shearing off, his helmet scraping the ground.
He was hit on the westbound side of the freeway between Conner and Gratiot by the driver of a silver late model Honda which fled.
But two other people rushed in to help, first a man in pickup truck blocking traffic so Wolfrum wouldn't get run over, then a border patrol agent who helped bandage his wounds.
Wolfrum suffered two cracked ribs, a punctured and bruised lung, separated shoulder and road rash across his body. He was thankful for a helmet which helped save his life.
He is also grateful for the people who helped him although he never got their names.
