Paying it Forward!!
Six months ago, January 2, 2015, I took Gary to the hospital thinking he had some infection in his intestines. I had no idea the journey we were about to take.
While in the hospital, Gary found that he had a horrible infection in his upper GI tract. While doing their testing, the doctors also found that Gary's liver wasn't doing so well. This started Gary's journey in recovery from alcoholism. As of today, he has been sober for 175 days!!
This week we talked about doing some kind of party to celebrate Gary's sobriety. However, the excitement from throwing a party just doesn't last...but, giving back does.
So, instead of throwing a party, we would like to ask if you would take a look at this ministry, and let's see if we can raise $5,000 for these Pearls!! Their website is: http://thepearlhouse.org/. All donations go toward The Pearl House, a girls home in Ghana.
If you can't tell, I'm so very proud of my husband, and so honored to be his wife! He is a quiet man, but right now...I'm loud...for my husband, and for these Pearls!!
