Hello Friend! Our dear Angela is battling cancer, going into a year of treatment now.

Angela is a 54-year-young lady, living in Houston, Texas, originally from Mozambique, a Portuguese speaking country located in southeast Africa.

She came to the US a decade ago looking for life opportunities, and everything has been great compared to the life she had before coming to the US, she was able to take care of her self and also providing for her family members back in Mozambique. Angela is Christian and has a good soul, she is a volunteer and member of the MCA (Mozambican Community Association- USA diaspora).

About a year ago, Angela was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer, and from there, started her journey of battling it going into a series of exams, X-rays, tomography, CT, and MRIs, to identify any bone fractures, tumors, or internal bleeding and treatments like chemotherapy.

Months into treatments, a new phenomenon is occurring, Angela has the cancer spread, a node in the neck that is causing her to not eat well due to pain in swallow and is causing her to lose weight and experience other side effects that keep her in bed most of the time due to sickness, discomfort headaches and fatigue.

Angela is a patient at Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, in Houston, Texas, she is very positive, and she is going through the treatment with a smile on her face, tons of confidence, resilience, and above all faith that God is in control.
