So many of you have been reaching out through texts, calls and social media, the overwhelming beauty of community has once again seeped into the core of our family. For those of you who have been asking and wondering, we were at the pool as a family and group of friends on Saturday. It was a day like any other, when suddenly my husband James yelled to have Michele And I to run over to the snack bar picnic tables where James, the kids, and Freddy, my brother-in-law, were all sitting.

Suddenly,  Freddy became extremely dizzy and lost physical functions of his body. Freddy was unable to sit up and began to slur his words - becoming unable to communicate fully. One Eye was unable to stay open, one side of his mouth was unable to function.  Immediately, 911 was called, and Freddy was rushed by ambulance to the hospital- where, after an Immediate CT and MRI scan, we found immediat CT and MRI scan, we received news that at age 37, Freddy has suffered a stroke on his brainstem.

Praise God, Freddy is expected to make a full recovery. He underwent many tests to see the cause of the stroke, and they believe it is because of a heart condition, Afib.

Freddy Is wearing a heart monitor for the next 30 days to keep record of his heart rhythms, and will undergo both physical and speech therapy.

Unlike many stroke victims, freddy is able to walk and use his extremities. To the naked eye he does not look like he suffered a stroke. Again, God‘s protection and goodness. Freddy was released home last night and will go to many doctors over the next few weeks as they journey this new road.

Michele. Freddy. Ryder and Scout are a gift to so many of us. Being on the receiving side of love is a very humbling place to be, as you can imagine.

Because, so many people have been graciously reaching out to me asking how to help financially, send meals etc. etc.… I was encouraged to set up a meal train/donation page for the Williams family. They don’t know about the donation part of it- because I had to wrestle my sister to even allow us to set up a meal train (she may be my older sister, but, I win this time :)
Again, when tragedy and hard happens, we all want to help. What a beautiful piece of love..... it’s easy to give at times- but so often, so very difficult to accept.

So, on behalf of the Williams family, Fox family, and Peyrouse family… Thank you for coming alongside, the Williams’. your prayers are coveted and needed as we believe Freddy is going to be better than ever. We know that God does not waste anything, and he continues to be a good good father.
Thank you so much.

Grateful. Xo
