Help Franklin

As most of you know, Jason Meier rescued this little guy (Franklin) shivering under an SUV on Franklin Avenue in Los Feliz this past Sunday. Jason has put up flyers all over the area, posted “found dog” information on his neighborhood app, and done everything he can to try and find his owners. In the meantime, he has cared for this sweet little guy and fallen in love with him. This morning, the unthinkable happened. As Jason was walking Franklin, he slipped out of his collar and bolted into the street and got hit by a car. The car ran over Franklin’s two back legs and he is currently in surgery with multiple pelvic fractures. Luckily, he has no internal damage. However, the surgery, rehabilitation and follow up appointments will be costly, the surgery alone is over $8,000.00.
