Nicaragua Medical Mission Trip

For the past 3 years, I have traveled to Jinotega, Nicaragua with Lipscomb University on a medical mission trip. My Freshman year I had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua with Lipscomb University. I fell in love with the people there and discovered a new passion for serving. I always knew that Lipscomb would provide amazing opportunities and I am so thankful God led me to Nicaragua. This year as a senior I am taking my last trip with Lipscomb back to Nicaragua March 15-22nd.
While in Nicaragua we will be providing walk-in medical clinics to the people living in Jinotega, Nicaragua as well as much needed medical supplies. Over the next couple of months, the team and I will be gathering supplies and making preparations for the journey ahead.The team and I will partner with Misión Para Cristo; an international development mission in Jinotega, Nicaragua. The mission has been around for 20 years and provides religious, educational, sustainability, rehabilitation, and medical services all around the country. We will be setting up mobile clinics around the more rural areas of the country to assist with the mission’s medically focused outreach program. We will see and serve the medical needs of about 200-300 people each workday. This year I will also have the opportunity to meet Andrea, the little girl I have been sponsoring in Nicaragua. I would like to invite you to partner with our team in this effort. First and foremost, we seek your prayers. Please pray for the preparation efforts of our team as we gather supplies and ready ourselves for the trip. Pray for the safety of our team as well as the people of Nicaragua as we travel. Finally, pray for the protection against sickness or hostility. Additionally, each team member has a fundraising goal of $1,940. hope you are able to share in this wonderful opportunity with me for my final trip with Lipscomb to Nicaragua.
