Save a Family from Losing Their Home

Hi there, I know I'm asking for a lot right now but we are in a seriously bad situation. We are being evicted due to non-payment of rent. It's myself, my 14 year old daughter and my husband. My husband and I both struggle with pretty severe mental health issues but we are trying to improve everyday. My daughter unfortunately has similar issues to us and is in therapy currently. My husband is a cancer survivor and in remission right now. Unfortunately though he has suffered life-long damage due to the chemotherapy he went through and is unable to work due to both physical and mental disabilities. We've been dealing to the best of our ability but I unfortunately got sick about 6-7 months ago and we got pretty far behind. At the same time my days at my bar got cut from 3 to 2 days a week. (I'm currently working hard to get a more stable job closer to home.)

My job is Bar-tending in Mays Landing at the same location for almost ten years.

Due to my job being paid cash/independent contractor I can't collect unemployment when I'm unable to work due to things outside my control. This also means no pay stubs/proof of income for charities to help me. I unfortunately don't think this is something that I can anything about.

If we are evicted we literally have no money to even get a hotel/motel room. We will be on the street and forced to give up our cats (we adore our cats so much, we are trying to get them registered as therapy animals). I truly have nowhere we can go.

I have reached out to family and they are not an option for us as far as help goes. They are struggling as well. This is truly my last option. If someone out there sees this and is willing to help I can send you proof of the eviction and the amount will be broken down and explained. I am also willing to pay back if someone out there agrees to loan me what I need to get on my feet.

Please, Someone help us. Our daughter deserves better and we desperately want to give to her. She loves where we live currently and she wants to stay here. We are trying really hard to be productive members of society and we just want to raise a good person.
