This is Bonnie Rogers, posting for my dad.

On October 7th, this past Saturday, the world said goodbye to my father Johnny Rogers after a long struggle with heart failure. He was to turn 70 this December.

I ask everyone that knew him to spread the word to those who may not be on here or haven’t been in contact with him in recent years. He had a lot of friends and family that cared for him and will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be scheduled here in the coming weeks as end of life preparations are completed. I will announce when and where in time. He didn’t want anything fancy so if you are unable to attend, either drink a beer or eat some chocolate for him and remember the great life he lived. That is what he truly wanted.

Donations for celebration of life and other related expenses are greatly appreciated. If you are unable to, please simply remember my father at his best.

Any money not spend on end of life expenses will be either spent on a small memorial at the cabin for family to visit or will be donated to the Colorado Trail in his name.
