Musical Instruments for my School

My name is Justin Jones and I am a math teacher at the Archer Learning Center (the alternative high school) in Springdale, Arkansas. Many of our students are at risk for failure for a variety of reasons. Our school is aimed at giving them a second (or third) chance at success. We desperately need musical eqipment at our school. I have seen the worst of the worst light up when music is brought up in conversations. So many of our students are passionate about music, but dont have opportunities to express those passions at school. We have no music or choir department, and essentially zero funding for any sort of program. This money would give us the opportunity to help save kid's lives. Music is a family. It's a community. It's something our students desperately need. We have a few guitars but still need more.  If everyone on my facebook donated 5 dollars it would be paid for. If all their friends put in a dollar, we would have funding for years to come- and could possibly pay for cool field trips like a concert or more instruments. So there it is. An idea, created by passion for helping kids, and now your chance to help pass that passion on to our future generations. Thank you for listening and thanks for your help in spreading the word.
