Cremation Costs (& hopefully taking over lease)

Hi everyone. I really do not like to reach out for help but I am at a loss and don’t know what else to do. I am getting such outrageous estimates and phone etiquette from funeral homes about my request so I’m reaching to y’all.

Mom (Anne) took her peaceful, yet unexpected journey to heaven yesterday afternoon at Frederick Memorial. They gave me 72hrs to tell them where to send her before she is donated for public “disposal”. She has no money or insurance policy to help and I lost my job due to her unexpected turn in health leaving me with a negative balance in my account. She dying wish was to be cremated and scattered with my dad in the Gulf of Mexico. All I want to do is honor that wish, she had such a poor quality of life that I just want her to have a positive quality afterlife. No donation is too small as some places have told me that at least if I can get a couple hundred they would go get her so I don’t have to worry if the risk of this public “disposal”.
