Cari Mews tragically lost her husband and 3 children after their kayak capsized on the waters of Lake Superior near Madeline Island on August 30th, 2018.
After the kayak capsized, Cari became separated from her family and is the sole survivor of the accident. She lost her husband Eric Fryman (39 years old), step- daughter Kyra (9 years old), daughter Analiese (5 years old) and her son Jansen (3 years old).
Cari and her husband enjoyed camping and outdoor adventure. Cari loved her children beyond measure and family is the upmost importance to her.
