On Wednesday evening, January 13 2016, Sherry Swope and her son, Tim Russell, lost their home and all belongings to a devastating house fire .


Just like many struggling single parents, Sherry works two jobs. Unfortunately, she was still unable to afford insurance on her home or belongings south of Warrensburg, Mo.





The baby photos of Tim that you see posted are just one of a few things that were able to be saved by the Fire Department.


As a community, we are pulling together to raise funds and donations to help Sherry and Tim get back in a furnished home of their own. No donation is to small. As we know, they all add up.
