My husbands best friend had a house fire two nights ago- his daughter, sister, and her daughter live in the house along with their cat and Guinea pig. The fire was downstairs in the laundry area and mostly everything on that floor is completely covered in soot and ruined including clothing. They are currently not able to stay at the house and the insurance company doesn’t come until later this week. These funds are to help them replace any items they have lost as well as lodging and time spent off of work.
