Cayla's Courageous Battle

Cayla Bowen Stackhouse was diagnosed with stage B aggressive breast cancer on January 23, 2015. This was just days before her 32nd birthday.
  Cayla is a single mother of two young children. Her daughter Ally is 12 and her son Gavin is almost 5. She was pursuing her nurse pratictioner degree while working as the assistant nursing director at Britewater in Myrtle Beach. Due to the rigorous chemo treatments once a week and the severe side effects, she has had to take a medical leave. This means no financial assistance as well as no more health insurance. As anyone can imagine, this is financial, emotional, and physically devastating.
     Her surgery is planned for the fall.  After the doctors feel she is strong enough, she will have radiation every day for 5 weeks. Her doctors will be an hour away.
     Most importantly we ask for your prayers as she and her family go through these trying times. Cayla is a very strong and brave woman. As with everything Cayla has tackled, she is unwaviering in her faith.
