Help our Chloe!
Donation protected
Chloe was rushed in an ambulance after trying to catch her hula hoop and falling into the hot embers of the remnants of a camp fire on Friday June 19th. She is only 4. Her hands sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns and luckily she didn't inhale any smoke or ashes. Please be grateful it wasn't your child, and remember to teach fire safety to your kids and pour water over hot ashes.
This accident had nothing to do with irresponsible adults, neglectful parenting, poor festival organization or boisterous campers...it was an accident and that's that. The festival was barely underway, everyone was sober, there were 3 kids at the site and at least 10 adults.
I'm asking for some help for this beautiful little family. Her mom Stephanie has had to take unpaid time off work so she could be home to take care of Chloe. They do have medical insurance, but it will not cover all of her treatment. No one can be sure how much it will end up costing.
