With heavy hearts, we share that in the early hours of Thursday night into Friday, at 03:05, my stepfather and the beloved husband of Dao Wen passed away after a long and difficult battle.

He lived in the Netherlands, where unfortunately certain regulations mean that his funeral is not covered. Despite this, we want to give Tom — also known as Thomas or Tommy — the dignified and loving farewell he truly deserves.

We are therefore reaching out for support. Every euro or dollar, no matter how small, would mean the world to us, as we are facing all of these costs ourselves.

We will miss him deeply and forever carry him in our hearts. We sincerely hope that you might be able to help us in creating a meaningful goodbye for him.
