Help Peter get home after a spinal stroke.
In November 2024, Peters life changed in an instant. Whilst driving to work in his van, he suddenly lost control of his left leg. He managed to get home using the handbrake but then lost all movement in his right leg too.
He was rushed to A&E, and after countless tests doctors diagnosed him with a rare spinal stroke. Peter is now paralysed from the waist down and relies on a wheelchair every day. Despite months of intensive rehabilitation, he still remains unable to walk.
Peter has been the heart of his family’s garden centre business since the age of 3. He is well known in the community for going out of his way to help others-especially elderly customers, often dropping off plants or eggs on his way home and checking in on them just to be kind.
Now Peter needs our help. He is working hard to return home, but the journey is difficult, and the costs are overwhelming. Home adaptations, specialist equipment and continued care are all expensive- and URGENT.
If you are able to contribute, your kindness will make a real difference in helping Peter rebuild his life.
