Hello, my name is Drew. I’m an LA resident, and a small business owner that is just up and coming. This is my pride and joy Nanook - he’s a German Shepherd who’s the most gentle giant you’ve ever met. He’s super playful, always full of excitement, and loves meeting new dogs and people. He’s really never had a bad experience meeting anyone. However, Monday morning on 11/29 a stray dog slipped through my back yard fence and viciously mauled him, biting off a very large portion of his face. He ended up with a huge gash under his eye, and after 10+ hours in the emergency vet he received several stitches to the top of his head. The doctor informed me that he will make a full recovery, and although i’m immensely grateful for them saving my baby’s life, the bill is just exceedingly expensive. I was laid off due to the pandemic, and although I recently started a new job I haven’t had stable enough of a income to provide him with pet insurance. I’m aware that everyone is going through a lot right now, but really anything and everything helps. Thank you so much, it really means the world to both myself and Nanook.
