Please help Xocoyote fly to Brazil!

Xocoyote is an Aztec dance group run and operated by the Calvillo Family. From Grandparents to grandchildren, Xocoyote has had the privilege of passing on the Aztec tradition of music and dance down through the generations and to the public for many years.  My father Jaime Calvillo has been our Capitan since the groups’ inception in 2004. Throughout the years, Xocoyote has performed as a family throughout the City of Los Angeles for Parks, Museums and Major Sporting event venues, such as the Los Angeles Staples Center.

We are very excited to share with you that Danza Azteca Xocoyote has been invited to participate in a National Cultural Festival taking place in São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil, September 8th through September 16th 2015.
At this time we would like to ask for your help in raising funds to attend this once in a lifetime opportunity. In order to attend this amazing festival we require your assistance in purchasing roundtrip airfare for the group, including our dancers and drummers. The current online estimates for round trip tickets are between $800.00 and $1000.00

With our ongoing fundraisers, including a sponsorship from a travel agency we have been able to purchase all but 3 tickets to fly to Brazil!! 

Your donations and participation in our fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated. No donation, monetary or otherwise, is too small and will be going directly to the purchase of our airline tickets. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any additional information you may need.
