Xochitl's Womb Healing Fund

For the past month I have spent most of my time in bed not knowing what was wrong in my body. I have had 3 terrifying fainting spells and 4 trips to the ER.  Each fainting spell worst than the one before, each one taking longer to recover from.

With the first fainting spell I had excruciating pain in my womb. Nearly 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids and Cysts. The Doctor's reccomended surgery, I was in shock and refused surgery because I was so scared, I've never had surgery before. I attempted to eat healthier and treat myself wholistically.  I now feel my condition needs intervention.

I have been in and out of the ER, Urgent Care and Doctor's appointments. After countless visits and feeling anxiety, fatigue, chronic pain, dizziness, fainting and waking up in the middle of the night in cold sweats; I have been diagnosed with another condition.

After the 2nd fainting spell, I decided it is time to remove these fibroids from my womb and go through with the surgery. Accepting the fact that I need surgery has brought forth A whole new level of fear and anxiety. I thought I knew what anxiety was before this experience, but I had no idea. 

I am scheduled for a Myomectomy on March 21. The first day of Spring and Mexica New Year. I have received lots of Butterfly and Hummingbird Medicine in these past weeks. I am preparing for surgery physically, mentally and spiritually. This has truly been an eye opening experience. Our lives and bodies are so sacred, our health is priceless and our access to healthcare a labyrinth.

I am going to need to take time off from work for about 6-8 weeks and have racked up unexpected medical bills with all the trips to the ER, ambulances, upcoming surgery and hospital stay.
I will need to raise money to help cover all of these expenses by April 2018.
