Hi my name is Jess and I am asking for your support to help me reach my fundraising goal for my expedition to Borneo in 2027 with Camps International. On the summer of 2027 i have been offered the once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in a 4 week long expedition in Borneo with a group called Camps International. This trek is dedicated to supporting local communities,helping wildlife like orangutans and sun bears and helping reforest Borneos rainforest.

Borneo is home to some of the most incredible but endangered animals on the planet such as the Bornean Orangutan. deforestation and habitat loss have put these animals at serious risk of extinction. On this expedition i will be helping protect these rainforests and wildlife rehabilitation efforts being made by camps international and the local community. Knowing what a huge part i could play in protecting these animals and their habitat means so much to me and makes me even more desperate to participate in this opportunity.

However this journey isn’t just focused on protecting these animals and the environment but also the community. This will including building and improving schools,developing water drainage systems,building medical centres and so much more. Things like education is something we take for granted but not everyone has access to. Being able to help build something that will improve many peoples daily life is an opportunity i may never get again.

However if i want to make this dream a reality, i need to raise a total of £5130 to cover the cost of this expedition. This includes everything from Travel(flights),accommodation,food&drink, adventure travels,project costs,24 hour emergency support and more. As this is such a large amount of money im reaching out for support to help me reach my goal. Every single donation no matter how small is appreciated and im so grateful to anyone who chooses to help me on this journey.
